Dear Spidra,
I spoke with a representative of Dave Wilson nurseries yesterday and they deny supplying you or anyone else with cherries grafted on Myro 29 C. Actually, there is nothing in the literature that suggests that
Myro 29 C can support cherries. However, it is nematode resistant and takes heavy wet soils, so I ordered some and will see if it will support the new low-chill cherries here in Houston. Although unlikely, it is possible, since Adara, which is a Myro, does.
They must have sent you Citation with a Zee stem. They are going to supply these cherries on a very dwarfing rootstock they claim suitable for container growing.
Regards, Ethan

Both UC Berkeley's Botanical Garden and the SF Botanical Garden are good although I personally have a preference for Berkeley's. The advantage of visiting SF's is that it's in Golden Gate Park so you can do the other things that are in the park like the
Japanese Tea Garden and the Conservatory of Flowers (which is not just flowers...you can see tropicals like cacao). http://botanicalgarden.berkeley.edu/ http://www.sfbotanicalgarden.org/ http://www.conservatoryofflowers.org/

Nurseries:
Berkeley Horticultural Nursery - Very good all-around nursery with decent fruit selection as well as CA natives, alpines, water plants, etc. Prettily presented.
Regan Nursery (in Fremont, CA) - Though known for their roses, they also have a good selection of fruit trees. I've gone down there to get things Berkeley Hort didn't have like mulberry, jujube http://www.regannursery.com/
