That Peters Honey Fig looks a LOT like Desert King. PHF is actually an Italian fig smuggled into the US by the owner of the nursery that first sold it under the name PHF. The owner often fills out orders (including wholesale) with a second variety when the first is out of stock. He doesn't tell the customer, though, so they think they are getting what they ordered. That might account for why the pictures look like Desert King.
