Brian, I don't remember where this subject
came up, probably on the "Little Houses" group as I think it was some Aussies
talking, but the subject was how cheap it is to get free non-working chest
freezers and convert them to refrigerators. The idea was to use them for
storing large amounts of fruit. It shouldn't be too hard to find the usual
capacity of such freezers and convert it to bushels. You may want a walk
in storage area, but you may like to have some converted freezers sitting out
where you can get to some easily. Donna
