Title: Message
Toni, try using them in the recipes in the attached file.  They are Volga German recipes that originated at a time when almost everyone lived on the farm and worked all those extra calories off.  Not heart-healthy, but very good. -- Sam

<Toni, I don't know where you live in Iowas, but if you live in or near
Mason City or Fort Dodge, you might have that edible Volga German
nightshade, Schartzbeeren.  Volga Germans settled in both areas, where
they worked in the sugar beet industry. -- Sam Brungardt>>

I think it was Lon who sent me the seeds a couple of years ago. I lost them in the jungle last year (or pulled them) This year I started them in a pot and transplanted the whole pot to one spot with a big stick marker! Wonderberries. Geesh! Sometimes I can't remember nothin'! What do I do with them??
