<<Again, I'm a complete newbie at this, and I'm not going to pretend I
know anything. For me, though, the Reliance peach seems to be working
out great. Bill Lincoln, NE (zone 5)>

Me 'n Bill. We're easy to please. Give me a peach off my own tree and
I will think it's the best peach I've ever eaten. Until 4 years ago I
didn't know they would grow here in zone 4. I liked the ones I got
last year well enough to buy two more from Gurneys/Fields and another
two from Van Wells. This is the second very wet cool spring. Last year
I had fabulous strawberries and those peaches but also floods. And
eventually the dieing Reliance peach tree. This year I've had rain,
some rain, quite a bit of ran, rain again today, looks like rain, and
will it EVER warm up??? And tree #2 is dieing. The same little tree
that gave me over 50 peaches last year. Can I blame it on the rain?
