- Subject: [NAFEX] More Grafting questions
- Date: Tue, 5 May 2009 14:35:31 -0400
All,
I have recently completed some bench grafting and I have a few scions
left that I still like to use.
I have a tree variety in my small orchard that I don't want anymore as
well as some 5 year old Bud-9 rootstock whose bud graft didn't take.
Is it too late for me to perform a graft on any these trees that are now
at petal fall has past here in Central Indiana? I'm concerning that the
sap flow will prevent the wound from healing over.
