If you are interested in this, then I highly recommend you review Maria Thun's research and books (and gardening calendar). I have found that there is more than just "something" to her information. It is based on 30+ years of empirical research with plants. "Work on the Land and Constellations" is a short review of her work. If you want something more immediate get her: "The North American Biodynamic Sowing and Planting Calendar 2009".
I assume you want the North American. If not, she has a Greenwich version out, but the North American is at least in Eastern Time. I have found these books useful and meaningful. If you delay, let me just give you a tip: Don't plant, graft, etc. on Good Friday. Not unless you like re-planting and graft failures!
