I agree!!!
This is a great place. You should try to make it down when they have the Rare Fruit Counsel Fruit Festival. Its happens about once every 2-3 years, and filled with days of fruit tastings tours and lectures.  Also it falls at the same time as the Fairchild Park Mango festival. Even if you cant grow what they have there, its is a great experience all the same.

I just got back from a Florida vacation, and I have to report on the Fruit and Spice Park, near Miami. If you're in the area, or even if you're not, it's worth a trip. You can wander around eating fallen fruit, and they also have a table of samples. Besides ordinary things like mangos and carambolas, they also had oodles of things I've never heard of like canistel and black sapote. It was lots of fun. It's a good thing I don't live in zone 10, or I'd need much more land to grow all these fun things. I think every state needs a park like this, though.
