John:

Many citrus seeds come true. Some say it takes longer to produce but I have a seedling of Ponderosa that bloomed when about 20 inches tall. Grafting is good. Use flying dragon rootstck for dwarfing if you have it. Budding works, air layers should be good. Cuttings is the way I first started with my lemons and limes.using a mist propagation bed.

What is the best method for propagating lemon trees?  A friend has an excellent plant and wants to replicate. I told them I'd be happy to do some grafting.  They were thinking air-layering.  Any thoughts?
Thanks,
