Well, I decided to remove the blossoms, difficult as that is.

Interesting (to me) the Elizabeth and Patriot were not trying to bloom, but the Little Giant plants had sprouted profuse flower buds. I hope they do so next year!

I have a two-year old O'Neal I planted just this year and decided to

have two 'Premier' and two BlueJay varieties, and they have yet to put
on fruit or flowers, of course they are later bearing than the O'Neal.
The O'Neal isn't necessarily putting on TONS of fruit, but there are
probably a dozen to 2 dozen fruit on a single plant.

I hope this helps, not sure how the rest of the year will go. But there
you have it.

highbush and rabbiteye plants. This is the 'conventional wisdom' that
was imparted to me as an essential element of successful blueberry
culture, so I have always done it. Therefore, I do not have a good
control group to compare their growth with plants that have produced
fruit from an early age.
