Just thought you might like to know that the campaign to save Brogdale has paid off.
Yesterday the Minister responsible made an announcement that Reading University had won the contract to maintain the collections including the curatorship of the fruit.
This is an important outcome as the intention to move the collection and reduce government money inputs by developing a frozen collection, without a living collection, was unproven in the long term.
