Royce:
I suspect your assessment is correct about Nave. If Snopes is just a couple that likes doing research I would say they do an incredible job.

Apparently Nave is a promoter of foolishness who got caught by the clearing house established by the Mikkelsons.Everything I've found on Snopes has been shown to be truth, unlike the many internet rumors started by others.Of course, if you like internet rumors and promoting them, you can feel free to continue to do like Nave and pass them on, burdening the bandwidth of others with foolishness.Isn't it telling that people attack the messenger rather than deal with the message? Nave should extract his foot from his mouth before he emails anyone else with his foolishness.Royce----- Original Message -----From: Michael NaveSent: Sunday, November 18, 2007 3:10 PMSubject: Re: [NAFEX] Snopes.comSnopes is just a married couple here in California,
David and Barbara Mikkelson. They like researching
things. They have no more ability to evaluate things
they aren't trained in than anyone else. Mostly they
are just a clearing house for compiling information,
some of it accurate, some of it not.
Of course if you have trouble thinking for yourself,
snopes is always willing to give you their opinion.
