I must have missed the post where someone said
honeycrisp growers are involved in a scam. What many
are clearly doing is overhyping their product. If that
is helping some sell more apples and make more money
and save the New York apple industry I have mixed
feelings. While it's good to promote fruits and
vegetables, I disagree with tactics that would make a
used car salesman blush. The declining consumption of
fruits by Americans is sad, but the state of
advertising in America is also sad.
