Getting some good responses to the article. Most of them are elaborations on
the
medical stuff, which I'm hopinging to run past a doctor on the list.

The following comment is a possible correction. Considering the recent
discussions
of urine as a fertilizer, I hope someone with more chemistry knowledge might
say if
the following is correct. Thanks!

I did have one other comment about the ammonia part, it was kind of misleading
where it was put: "Ammonia, though, may be helpful for washing urushiol. It
seems a
bother to figure out what dilution won't irritate, when on the occasions you
need
some your pre-mixed dilution is probably on the same shelf as the possibly
more
effective detergent! But in remote situations, urine may suffice." Urine
does not
contain ammonia fresh from the body, rather bacteria convert urea and salts
in the
urine to ammonia. Urine as a water source would work to rinse, as urine is
about
90-95% water....
