I used to sell produce at the Merced Farmers' Market (Merced is 40 miles
West of Yosemite Park). It was a good market until the Hmongs moved in.
They were on welfare and selling for dirt cheap. I sold my Okra, for
example, at $1.00 per pound and the Hmongs sold for 50 cents per pound. So
I went to all of their booths, bought their Okra and resold it for $1.00 and
they were all too stupid to figure out that they could have earned twice
what they were charging.
