He was just up there again. Being in
the city, lead injections would not be wise, so I tried a steel injection, but
he flopped out of the tree before my shovel could educate him. There’s
an endless supply of raccoons around here. Yeah, I should rent a dog from
a neighbor and park him and his dog house right in the middle of the trees. I was wondering if coating the trunk with
tanglefoot would work. I should probably break down and get an
electric fence. All I would need is a smallish one (I just have a half
dozen trees with raccoon problems). Mark From:
nafex-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org [mailto:nafex-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org] On Behalf Of Thomas Olenio Hi, How to keep away raccoons…? High speed, lead injections or regular
canine incisor massage. Later, Tom From:
nafex-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org [mailto:nafex-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org] On Behalf Of Mark Dorogi I just looked out the window to see a big
raccoon way up in the top of one of my sweet cherry trees. They eat
everything and wreck the tree to boot. What is the best way to keep them
out of trees? They also get almost all of my peaches later on, too. Mark |
