2 miles is what I recall reading.  Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

How far from a hive do bees typically travel?  I'm trying to figure 
out if the honey bees here are wild or from a hive, I'm actually 
seeing noticeably more than previous years.  I'm thinking somebody 
set up hives nearby.
