Interesting, but he says wait a year before treating-- did I read that right?
I
think it was on this list that someone posted about mushroom culture, you
have to
innoculate fresh-cut logs because cut surfaces are infected IMMEDIATELY w/
ambient
species of fungal spores from the air. Does the copper fungicide even kill
fungal
infections which have been growing in the wood for a year? That's a little
scary.
I also like some of the other posts there, about "how much effort and money
do you
want to invest in a MAPLE?"
