There are a few nurseries in my area that I can get all the containers I want for free. I'm not sure where you live, but I'm sure if you check with a local nurseries they may have used containers that landscapers bring back. Usually nurseries would sell them to recycling and don't make much, but I'm sure some with rather win a customer by giving them away.
