Bass, my trees haven't fruited yet. The man I got the Fuyu wood from has a commercial persimmon orchard in Maryland, and he had good luck with it. I didn't ask for the wood, he felt I just had to be growing it so he brought me some.

Scott, have you gotten any fruits on your Fuyu? or the Jiro? From what I
understand Fuyu is would be a very late persimmon sometimes in november
if grown in this area. In Ca, Fuyu is everywhere and it ripens earlier
maybe, because their summer starts early. i've also seen very late Fuyu
there. I remember once i was in Ca in December and it was being sold in
local farmers market as freshly picked. Bass
