Toni, I remember you from the edible landscape elist that yahoo
deleted without a single word on why . . . so sad.

Anyway these links are for the Iowa State Extension. The first link
is for their publications section. They have every pamplet
conceivable taylored for the Iowa climate. "Fruit Cultivars for Iowa"
and "Growing Blueberries in Iowa" are two of the titles that are right
up your alley. Notice that both of these titles are can be downloaded
in pdf format as are many of them.

I can see the Mississippi river from my house in Rock Island and
Davenport Iowa is right on the other side where I am right now using
the computer at a coffee shop.

Toni Pralle asked about zone 4 blueberries for Iowa. I'm not quite in that
area and zone, but my favorites so far are Nelson and Elliott, both listed
by Hartmann's as zone 4. They make a nice pair of varieties for early to
late season progression.
