Thank you Richard Moyer. Wish I lived near enough to have gone to the workshops, but it gives some names and numbers.

About the yield; WOW! It's like having your cake and frosting and ice cream too. I would just like to have a really good berry (verses store bought hard and taste and odorless) without the discouragement from the weather. This year was drought and a late spring frost. I can hardly wait until January is here.

I can't imagine apple and pears under high tunnels. Must be real dwarf. Would keep the king blossom from getting hit by frost.

And I want a chocolate-raspberry tart too.

Note the yield increases for raspberries, but also the need to select the
best cultivars for these conditions.

Cornell also is working on fruits under high tunnels.

Marvin Pritts is the lead researcher in much of this Cornell work, so a
search on him with "high tunnel' will give additional info.

While in Korea, we saw grapes, apples and pears done under high tunnels,
with the sides rolled up, then removed as the season progressed in order to
get fruit to market earlier. Unsure of any US work on these fruits with
high tunnels.

Am at a conference with cheesecake with raspberry sauce for lunch and
chocolate-raspberry tarts for dinner. Someone is growing these red
raspberries!
