Believe it or not, those rocks will cook down into a surprisingly smooth sauce. Peel, cut them up some, and add about 1/3 water by volume. What you will get is still intensely tart, but amazingly aromatic. Sweetened, you can get something that goes well with meat, about like cranberries. Or cut the sauce with apples.
