What climate zone are these yellow raspberries growing in? What zones do you think they will adapt to (just a guess is fine)? Do you think they might spread like wildfire in places like Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington? Also how large are the canes? Also as it is tasty, does it taste like most raspberries? I ask this because you say the people in the area where it grows aren't interested in propagating it. Do you think the reason might be that they don't care for the flavor, don't have any private property of their own, lack knowledge of the potential for making money, or whatever? Why don't you try naming it with a commmon name and try patenting it like an American company would? Thanks
In raspberries, there is a very tasty yellow fruited raspberry, Rubus ellipticus which grows wild in the Himalayan mid-hills......................
There are, of course, some disadvantages like large sized bushes and presence of small thorns, but these problems can be solved by selecting some better strains..........
