Wilt proof is a solution containing a beta-pinene polymer. Polyterpene
polymers, including this one, are derived from pine sap. I did read the
MSDS, and it finds no toxicity for Wilt-Pruf, which is an organic and
biodegradable product.

I asked this same Q of a chemist friend. He researched either the MSDS or
some other reference which lists components. I might still have the info,
"but where?!" If I remember correctly, Wiltpruf is more non-toxic &
bio-degradeable then I'd assumed.
What about coarse, airy mulches like pine needles, marsh hay, etc?

Fort Kent Blackberries thrive here in zone 3 provided they are
protected
from the drying winter winter wind. Everything under the snow is protected
and everything above the snow-line fries. I think spraying with Wiltpruf
would do the job but to do a thorough job, alot of Wiltpruf will be spilled
on the ground.
What is Wiltpruf made of; does anyone know? Is it environmentally
friendly? Does it degrade? How fast? Thanks.
