Bruce,

The life cycle of the Blue Orchard bee is one year - ie. from when the egg is
laid
until the bee emerges is one year - give or take a few weeks depending on the
weather. There is one generation per year.

There is an excellent book on Blue Orchard bees published by Sustainable
Agriculture - see my website (address below)

In my area (PNW) they come out about two weeks before my earliest apple
blooms and
continue for about two weeks after my latest apple blossom.
