Lee (and other interested parties):
The activity of Surround is that the coating on foliage and fruit
prevents an insect (many species, anyway) from literally crawling or
negiotiating the surface of foliage or fruit. Therefore TOTAL COVERAGE is
mandatory during curculio egg laying and/or feeding activity. And given the
rapid spring time growth, weekly applications WHICH COVER THE ENTIRE TREE is
necessary to get the desired results.
Hope this helps.
Ed, So. Ohio, doing just fine.......

I mix sulfur in with my all my Surround sprays and, as I said, still
extensive curculio damage -- my rough guess is 80% despite diligent
spraying and good coverage using backpack Stihl mist sprayer.
