In Sweden and the Adirondacks they spray lime into the lakes to counteract
the effects of acid lime. Judson L. Frisk

Hello,

Can lime be used to raise the PH of a pond?

I would imagine a 5 gallon pail full of lime could act as a nuetralizing
agent for acid rain entering a small pond.

Fill the pail, snap on the lid, drill a few 1/2" holes in the lid, and
sink it in the small pond. Take the pail out when the PH is normal, and
retstock with frogs.

No idea if this would work. Possibly list experts would know.

Later,
Tom
