Here,Here! Question for folks: Has anyone used a Flame Weeder to elimate weeds
around fruit trees? I was considering it, but didn't know if Apple/other fruit
bark could hold up to a scorch here and there. Or the roots: do feeder roots
react negatively to heat/burnt leavings? I would think the ash/remains would
benefit, but I am not sure the metabolic react to a burned enviroment. I
assume I
should do this not too late in the season, as to not stress the tree with any
injury, and maybe only before Solstice as to not trigger a soil biota reaction
while in storage mode. Well, any thoughts would be very welcome!
