when I discuss K Giant pears with my customers, I compare them to a good
watermelon - delicate, crisp texture (gritty Honeycrisp), very juicy,
with a delicate, sweet flavor - no suggestion of 'pear' flavor a'la
Bartlett - a favorite here...
