Hello Gord,

(second attempt to send)

Around here they are called "Wolverton Beauty". They are good sized apples, a little larger than Delicious. Abundant crop this year.

I believe my inlaws got them by mistake. They sent out some custom
grafting and got half of someone elses trees. The other person got half of their "Improved Snow" grafts.

They have no desire for the Wolverton Beauty. but the other fellow is looking for more Improved Snow. My son enjoys them. Not a good pie apple.

Later,
Tom

Need help with an apple variety. Looks like a red delicious but light green
with russeting around the stem. Thick skin not sweet. Ripens in zone five
around Sept 20.

Any ideas.

Regards,

Gord Hawkes
