- Subject: [NAFEX] advice on kiwi cuttings
- Date: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 12:23:19 -0700
I have read that June/July is the best time to take softwood cuttings of kiwis. I have an interest in growing arguta kiwis. I am especially fond of Ken’s Red. Can anyone provide me with a few male and female cuttings of this type of kiwi in exchange for postage? I had Ananasnaja at my previous house, but none survived the move. After 4 years in the ground, those plants really started to produce a lot of tasty fruit. Last time I bought plants which were pretty pricey. This time I want to try my luck at softwood cuttings. Thanks, Mark Lee, Seattle |
