Cliff England (England's Orchard & Nursery - http://www.nuttrees.net) is using a callusing tube for many of his pecan/walnut/hickory grafts, and may also be using it for chestnuts, persimmons, etc.
Cliff gave me a 'Jewel Box' heartnut last spring that had been grafted about 2 wks earlier, and it was callused in and was beginning to initiate growth.
