Hello all,
I was wondering if someone would know the pedigree of the St-Croix grape.
I have read in one place...
That St-Croix was selection ES 242, from a cross of ES 283 x ES 193.
Then, in another place that it was selection ES 2-3-17 from a cross of (ES
114 x Seyval blanc) x (MN 78 x Seneca).
And from another reference that it was selection ES 2-3-21...
Interesting... Obviously, it isn't that important which was the selection
number of St-Croix as long as we like the grapes, but I am just curious.
Claude Jolicoeur, Quebec.
