Hello,

What are the odds that the birds will roost in the small trees, damaging
branches?

If trees are bearing fruit, there is always the disease issue. I have never
believed it to be a
good idea to introduce live animals and manure into the orchard. Unless the
manure is aged or
composted.

It breaks my heart to see some old farm orchard fenced in, and have livestock
destroying the
trees. I have NEVER seen a well kept, thriving orchard with livestock in it.
Maybe just my
experience.

Later,
Tom
