- Subject: [NAFEX] Tree paint
- Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2003 12:42:05 -0500
I'm sure this has been covered before... But I need to apply something to the trunks of my new fruit trees to prevent sunscald in our snowy and occasionally sunny winters. In the dark days of my youth we used to paint the trunks in the orchard with white paint. But I can't recall what was in the paint. Can I just use regular latex paint, or do I have to get something special?
Or is paint in general an outdated concept? If so, what should I use?
Thanks
