New List Groups for Rarefruiters

A new service has been developed with CRFG in mind - eMail list groups. These
groups are places where you can post a question or comment and get ready answers
from other members.  While they are named Œfruit¹ most uncommon edibles are
welcome. There is no charge for this and the provider (ibiblio) does not include
any advertising with the messages.

The groups are designed as a supplement to CRFG rarefruiters to make it easier
to exchange information and assist in communications with rare fruit growers.

The groups are:
rarefruit: for people who have an interest in tropical and semi tropical fruits.
coolfruit: for people who have an interest in temperate climate rare edibles
rarefruitrecipes: exchange recipes for all your rare edibles here
containerfruits: where ever you live, if you grow your rare edibles in
containers this is the group for you.

To help prevent spam and viruses it is requested that you not include
attachments with messages. If there is a photo that is necessary to the message,
space will be available to post it. Co-moderators are wanted for the groups.

The groups were set up by Bob Cannon at the suggestion of CRFG members. Cannon
founded the Yahoo groups rarefruit, CoolFruit and rarefruit_recipes several
years ago for general rare fruit grower use. Due to the number of complaints
concerning Yahoo attaching advertising and other matters it was decided to form
these new groups on ibiblio which does not attach advertising to messages.
