This week at my place. And the vines haven't lost any leaves yet for fall.

Hello,

At what point in the season do rabbits start in on dormant plants?

I have some young grape vines on trellis, and cannot add any protection until
leaf drop (soon I
hope). They are still young enough not to have reached the top wire yet.

I already have wrapped the rest of my tree trunks, and will wrap the vines
once leaf drop, but I
wonder when the rabbits will really kick in on dormant, unprotected plants.

Thanks,
Tom
