Agreed that C. kousa fruits are can be pleasant; but in my experience are
very mild in flavor to unpleasantly bland, not as strong or banana or pawpaw
even in the better ones. As for heart racing, have not noticed such in my
family upon eating these. have not tasted any cultivars sold for edible
use.
Those of you eating them: Do you swallow the skin or spit it out and just
eat the pulp?
Curious because locals here eat pawpaw skin.
