I told Lucky about one mulberry that I grafted a weeping to, then after it was growing I staked a weeping branch in the up position and the following year grafted Ill. Ev. to it to grow straight up. As lucky told me a mulberry with a skirt :>)

You can always multiple varity grafts to same tree. Then bark girdle and graft that back on upside down. This stops the tree growth for 4 years. Then do it again.
I only have 2 acres. and a lot of multiple grafted trees.

This might be something for you to consider, Robert. I've got all the space I want, and can have as many individual trees as I care to plant, I don't have to do bark inversion to limit size, but I do have one multi-variety mulberry - currently is mostly 'Packy' -a selection Gordon sent me, but also has Stearns, contorted, and a couple of M.rubra selections grafted on as individual branches.
