Lucky: thanks for your reply, wasnt sure if this tree was a hybrid between a
hawthorn or some other thorned relative.
Topgun: We have a good deal of blight in KY, The bartlett grafts have a
couple of small strikes, but are doing pretty well. The seedling tree seems
fairly blight resistant, better than my Kieffer. We also had a low pressure
blight year which helps.
