If you add activated charcoal to off-flavored honey and stir it and
filter the charcoal out it will make it more palatable. The charcoal has
the ability to adsorb some of the noxious flavors. Expensive but works.
Some plain charcoals contain poisons. The kind of charcoal used in
protective mask works great if you can obtain it. It works for "shrub"
honey but I would be reluctant to trust it for "poisonous honey"
produced by nectar of Jasmine or Buckeye blossoms.
