If the trees are potted you do not have to wait until they are dormant. Be
careful not to disturb the potted soil while planting. I have planted over
100 apples this month which I grafted this spring

I, too, would like to thank you for the apricot pits. All but one
germinated. I have kept two and given away the other 12 to local fruit
folks. The two that I kept are still in pots and are 36 and 32 inches
tall. I will set them out when they show signs of going dormant.
