Title: Re: [NAFEX] Grape Leaf
Looks like normal end-of-season senesence to me.  If the nights are cool, that can start the process even without frost.  Eona has a riparia parent that is at least partly tuned to day length to make it go dormant, so that could be contributing, too.

Subject: RE: [NAFEX] Grape Leaf

Hi,

We are in southwest Ontario, near Kitchener, or about 1.5 hour drive north
of lake Erie.  If we are getting air pollution it is drifting in from
Illinois at least 2-3 hours drive to the southwest.  We are in an
agricultural area, and very rural, about the same as zone 5 in the U.S..

We are having cool nights, but no frost yet.  We are getting lots of rain
after a long summer drought, and I am begining to see powdery mildew on
all the grapes.  I did not have to spray all summer, as pests never showed
up (except grape beetle in the spring).

But I do not know what this yellowing is.  Just hoping it is tied to the
end of the season.

Later,
Tom
