Sam,
My Gingko trees are doing fine in full sun, 5 degree south slope.
The only thing that has ever affected them are late frosts, which turn the
emerging leaves black, and then they have to re-leaf.
I have never seen Gingko leaves wilt, even in 95 degree heat in an August
drought.
Same for some 30 foot specimens in a local park.
