I've read in more than one place that global warming wouldn't necessarily
mean the whole planet would get warmer. It would actually cause the climate
to become more erratic, with wilder swings. This seems to be what's
happening. Here in western Oregon, there is a record low predicted for
tonight. Not something drastic, merely the possibility of frost. But our
last frost here is usually in mid to late March.
