Neither did the ones you sent me, Donna. Nor did any of those I saved from
the tree at the I-24 welcome center. I wonder, though, if they might have
some sort of double dormancy - those things are more like a dogwood stone
than
a typical pomefruit seed. They might come up this spring.

I'm pretty sure he offers scions, and I've got no doubt that it would work
just fine on any native hawthorn, including any purchased hawthorn stocks you
might have on hand.

Supposed to hit 60 today(spitting snow yesterday morning). I'm taking the
day
off to prune my oaks, grub out & transplant some apple rootstock suckers I
didn't deal with last year, and lift some pecan/hickory/walnut seedlings
various folks have ordered.
