If looking for Pawpaw seedlings or grafted Varieties
Check with Larry Sibley, Son in law of the pawpaw man Corwin Davis. He with
his wife now own Corwins Nursery which is Tolgate Gardens. He sends out
potted pawpaws and I recommend them. Try tol3gate1@juno.com for
catalog.That's TOL3
If that don't go through here is address and Phone Number. Tell him
Gordon
recommended him.

Depending on where you are, Prinsepia is susceptible to Pseudomonas
and
brown rot and the fruits, while tasting of cherry, have about 1/8 inch of
flesh (in the good ones) over a large, rough pit. Very sparse bearing in
many places.
Yellowhorn tastes like a raw potato, IF you live long enough to see
it
in bearing.
Fruit of Magnolia vine (Schizandra) is known as Chinese Five Flavor
fruit. Interesting, but very acid. Young vine is very attractive to slugs
and requires shade - burns off in full sun.
Currants and gooseberries - look up Hartmann's Plant Co. in Michigan
-
they have a much better selection.
Also, transplanting of pawpaws is HARD. Better to start your own
seedlings and graft them.
