Make a yeast dough. You can use cooked prunes or soft bananas for 1/2 of the
liquid needed for the yeast bread. Then load it up with all the dried fruit
and
nuts it will hold. Candied papaya adds nice color hits as do pistachio nuts.
Form loaves and bake till done.
This was the recipe (adapted) of some old cousins back in Germany. They used
fruit from their own trees.
