Pinelands Mounted SAR (NJ) requires a minimum of the following for call-out:

SARTECH III,  or equal;  (Going towards the NPS training)

CPR

First Aid

Map/Compass (Land Nav)

ICS-100, 200 700 and 800

Horse/Rider evaluation

and pack check to be deployable.

But continue education for ASTM 2209 compliant level of knowledge or SARTECH II or equal.

Plus 40 hours or training per year

Subject: [MSAR] NASAR MSAR Teams

I am trying to identify how many MSAR teams require their team members to hold a National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) SARTECH II certification or complete the 46 hour NASAR Fundamentals of SAR (FUNSAR) course before the said member can deploy in the field?

I am also trying to identify how many MSAR Teams are voting NASAR Teams.

I thank everyone in advance for their assistance with this project.
